Do I need a referral?
No referral is required, although referrals are welcome. Simply get in touch via email, phone or through the "contact" page to get started.
Do you accept GP Mental Health Care Plans?
Credentialed Mental Health Nurses are able to claim medicare rebate if you are eligible for a GP Chronic Disease Management Plan and Team Care Arrangement. This includes provision for mental health care. Unfortunately, we are unable to take GP Mental Health Care Plans.
How will I know Breakthrough is for me?
Initial consultations are complimentary. This gives the opportunity for a meet and greet session and to allow for service provision to be discussed.
Is tele-health available?
Yes, a secure and confidential tele-health platform is available. Tele-health platforms can be accessed through a device such as a mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer with a camera.

Who do you work with?
Breakthrough works with children, adolescents, youth and families. Adults who are on a GP Chronic Disease Management plan and Team Care Arrangement and NDIS participants.
Can I contact you after hours?
Breakthrough is not a crisis service and will be unavailable to be contacted outside of business hours. If you require support outside of your appointments, click on "useful contacts" below to see a range of 24/7 mental health telephone support contact numbers.
Do you work with NDIS participants?
Yes, Breakthrough is a registered provider under the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. There is provision for individual therapeutic support for participants who are agency and self managed.
